Our Power of Pictures course returns in the New Year…
On 28th October we announced that our Power of Pictures course is returning on 22nd January 2020. With a brand new author/illustrator leading the course, Joe Todd-Stanton, alongside CLPE’s learning programmes leader Charlotte Hacking.
The course will take place over two and a half days where participants will learn about the craft of picturebook making in developing children as readers and writers with a greater depth of understanding about the writing process.
This course is based on the 6-year research project which found that giving children the opportunity to explore their creativity through art and supporting them to learn through picturebooks, has a direct and positive impact on children’s literacy.
