CLPE: Improving Literacy Teaching in Primary Schools for 50 Years

How can we support you in the next academic year?

The Centre for Literacy in Primary Education (CLPE) have been leading thinking and practice in the teaching of literacy in primary schools for 50 years. All CLPE training will help you build your subject knowledge and develop practical approaches to literacy learning that inspire a love of reading and writing for all children.

“Since 1972, CLPE has been at the forefront of primary literacy education and working to ensure that teachers can access the highest quality CPD based on the most rigorous and pedagogically sound research. Our course programme this year celebrates our heritage and supports you to deliver a modern literacy curriculum with literature at its very heart.” Louise Johns-Shepherd, CLPE Chief Executive.
