Blue Chameleon

A lonely blue chameleon adapts himself to the colours and shapes of several creatures and objects in a vain effort to make friends. Emily Gravett employs a very effective minimalist approach to both text and illustration, eventually arriving at a white page where the endearing chameleon can be felt as a textured shape rather than be seen. This is finally followed by his joyous encounter with a chameleon companion who reflects his own riotously coloured coat.
