CLPE's Impact Report 2023 - 24

We are delighted to announce the publication of our Impact Report 2023 - 2024. Our latest impact report measures our growth and impact on literacy learning and teaching across 2023 - 2024. It brings together data from our training courses, as well as our leading research in the field of picturebooks (The Power of Pictures), diversity and representation (Reflecting Realities), and poetry, including the CLPE poetry award, CLiPPA.

The report showcases the impact of our teacher training and development programmes with the following results :

• 397 teachers attended our in-person training courses;
• 1493 attendees attended our online training;
• 2270 books were given away as part of our training programme;
• 100% of respondents rated in-person training as effective and 97% of respondents rated online training as effective;
• 100% of respondents would recommend our in-person training to someone else while 98% of respondents would recommend our online training to someone else;
• 98% of teachers who attended our Power of Reading Training would recommend training to someone else
• 54 schools nationally and internationally had INSET training delivered by the CLPE Team.

Additionally, 925 schools accessed CLPE's School Membership with access to children's book recommendations and teaching plans, with 94% of teachers reporting children choosing to read more independently in school.
