Planning a Text Based Curriculum in the Early Years - Webinar

This webinar will investigate what a text based unit in practice in an Early Years classroom or setting. 

Our expert teaching team will share how these units can be used to support children’s knowledge and skills as early readers and writers - including contextualised opportunities for phonics, language and grammar - and how to provide invitations for young children to read and write and, thereby, raising engagement and attainment of pupils.

We will also look at how such units can work together to provide a rich and comprehensive curriculum that enables progress and attainment throughout the Early Years, building solid foundations for learning in Key Stage 1.

This webinar will be delivered by Learning Programme Leaders Charlotte Hacking and Farrah Serroukh.

This webinar will focus around the high-quality Early Years text, Errol’s Garden by Gillian Hibbs (Child’s Play)
