to sling a stone

to fling a spear

to wield a club

to blow a dart

to shoot an arrow

to pull a pistol

to fire a canon

Spring is baby,
bright, fresh and new,
gurgling with the melting snow,
singing with the first cuckoo.

Eyes as wide as continents brim wih the water between.
