'I'm fed up looking like Father Christmas,'
Muttered Father Christmas one year.

Deep in the depths of a dark, dark pool 
lives a water monster named Billy McCool. 
He's got shiny scales of pink candy ice 
and octopusy arms that he thinks very nice.

take catnaps on seabeds
Sticklebacks
stick like glue
Terrapins
are terrific with needles
But what does a didgery do?

I’m dressed to kill, got the sharpest suit,

We're the Mafia cats
Bugsy, Franco and Toni
We're crazy for pizza
With hot pepperoni

One was beautiful, silken hair to her waist
and dutiful, kept it neatly in place.
Please and Thanks were words she’d use.

Itty-bitty. Bat. Tittle-tattle. Tat
Shilly-shally. Shout. Dilly-dally. Out
Willy-nilly. Woo. Silly Billy. Boo!
Roly-poly. Rip. Pitter-patter. Pip

I went to the shop
to get me a carrot
Oh dear!
They gave me a parrot.

Oh dear!
Look what I got
Do I want that?
No I do NOT!

Once upon a plom
There lived a poor little mom
Along with her children three.
There was a great big Gom
A Flom and a Chom
Who all sang, "Me, me, me."

Peter the orange parrot
had a very tiny beak,
unlike the other parrots
he was never heard to speak.
But they were never nasty to him,
Peter the non-talking parrot
