Poems

Poem

I am the word juggler.
I juggle the words
like swords.
I slice sense
with poetic license.

Poem

Catfish
take catnaps on seabeds
Sticklebacks
stick like glue
Terrapins
are terrific with needles
But what does a didgery do?

Poem

Fire under footfall.
Fire over skies.

Fire on a matchstick.
Fire in my eyes.

Fire holding hunger.
Fire seeking wood.

Fire hiding danger.
Fire feeling good.

Poem

We finished with a song on the football pitch
Singing all along on the football pitch
Had a little sing with a sing-song-sing
Had a little fling with a ding-dong-ding

Let in the Stars
Poem

My Wipwapwop, it cost a lot
I keep it up my sleeve
it's great for surfing on the spot
and playing make believe.
It's sleek and snug and mine to hug

Poem

In the beginning was the word
and the word is ours:

the names of places,
the names of flowers,
the name of names,
words are ours.
