Poems

Poem

                         First, months

of flash, thud, shudder,

then the wailing...

Poem

I saw a bride splendid in white garments
I saw a woman with one hundred children
The children plump and firm within her arms,

Poem

In the Carribean
at the end of day
sun drops suddenly
like a fire ball
behind forested hills

Poem

which kinda freaked me out,

so I said to her,

Da Man is fine, babe.

Poem

Poem

Forest could keep secrets
Forest could keep secrets

Poem

Poem

It was the summer

when Now and Laters

cost a nickel

and The Fantastic Four,

a buck.

When I met

Harriet Tubman

Poem

The game is on

at the park.

The stars are out.

It’s close to dark.

Hoop Kings

SOARing

in the SKY

so high

so fly

like they Got Wings

Poem

Brown hair turned golden
under distant suns,

from countless corners of continents.
