Laura Mucha

Laura Mucha is an ex-lawyer turned award-winning poet, author and children’s advocate working with organisations like UNICEF and the National Literacy Trust. Her poems for children have been featured around the world on radio, TV, public transport and in medical centres, rest homes, hospices, and prisons. Her debut collection of poems is Dear Ugly Sisters and Other Poems (Otter-Barry Books 2020) . She is co-author with Matt Goodfellow and Liz Brownlee of Being Me: Poems About Thoughts, Worries and Feelings (Otter-Barry Books 2021), an anthology of 45 poems which has been shortlisted for the CLiPPA 2022.
