Get involved in the CLiPPA Shadowing Scheme 2021!

We have extended the deadline for the CLiPPA Shadowing Scheme!

After receiving feedback from schools, we have made the decision to extend the deadline for schools wanting to enter the CLiPPA 2021 shadowing scheme. The deadline for entries is now Friday 11th February, to ensure as many schools as possible have the chance to take part.

New Timeline for the CLiPPA Shadowing Scheme 2021:

1) Download the free resources for the CLiPPA 2021 shortlisted book you would like to shadow with your class. Discover an exclusive discount on the shortlisted CLiPPA books from Peters...

2) Plan to use these resources over a 3 week period in your class between now and February.

3) Allow individuals or groups of children to choose a favourite poem from a shortlisted collection and work this up as a performance. The teaching notes will give you the opportunity to do this

4) Video the performances, reflect on these together and pick the best ones to send to the judging panel at CLPE

5) Name the video file(s) using the following convention: School Name_Year Group_Shortlisted Book (e.g. StMarysBristol_Year2_Crocodile). Email the video(s) to [email protected] using a large file transfer service - we recommend WeTransfer - no later than 5pm on 11th February 2022. Make sure you complete the CLiPPA consent form and send this with your entry. Download this below.

The Shadowing Scheme Deadline for Entries is on Friday 11th February.

Submit your entries by this date - don't miss out on your chance to win the CLiPPA Shadowing Scheme 2021.

A shadowing winner will be chosen for each shortlisted collection, as well as one overall winner. Shadowing Scheme winners will be announced on the 25th February 2022 and will receive a special Poetry Pack including a bundle of poetry books and goodies.
