How to create a wish list

The wishlist function on this website enables you to create personalised lists of core books.

Once created, your list is saved in your profile and can be downloaded as a .csv file or printed.

Wishlists can be used in a number of ways, for example, to:

  • audit bookstock in your school
  • discuss the different texts with colleagues
  • build your own booklists around particular subjects or age ranges
  • send to a bookseller in order to purchase books for your school

Creating a wishlist is easy and you can add to it in a number of ways. 

Search for a book by typing text into the search box (author, title, keyword). When you see the book you want click on the 'add to wishlist' button.

View the entire booklist and then filter the list by key stage, age, collection, author, illustrator or publisher.  You can then add individual books by clicking on the 'add to wishlist' button.

To view your wishlist click on 'My Account' at the top of the page.  Under 'Account Settings' click 'Wishlist'.

Your wishlist will remain in your account for as long as you need it so you can add to it or adjust it over time.

Once you are in your wishlist you can remove single books, remove all the books, download the list as a .csv file or see it in print view.

To see your list in print view, click on the blue and white 'printer' icon at the top of the page.  You can then print the list.  In most systems you can also right click the document and save it as a pdf.

To download the csv file you simply click on the 'paper' icon.  If you then need to open the csv file in Excel, it is best to open Excel first, then open the csv file once you are in Excel.
