Who's Your Real Mum?

Nicolas is curious to find out which of Elvi's mums is her "real" mum, so Elvi, gently teasing, drops a series of increasingly outlandish clues. It turns out, of course, that the question has a very simple answer. 

This witty picturebook challenges assumptions about same-gender parent families in a non-didactic and charming manner. It's also refreshing to see this conversation play out between two young children, as they figure out between themselves the best way of communicating.
