Tall Story

A novel in dual dialogue as Andi and Bernardo, her eight foot tall half-brother from the Philippines, tell their stories in alternate chapters. Bernardo has finally come to join his mother and her family in England. His adjustment to his new life is portrayed with humour and pathos, as are his worries about the friends he has left behind. Andi also has to adapt and find out whether her brother will help or hinder her in her ambition to be part of a basketball team.
