Runaway Robot

Alfie is getting used to having a detachable hand but instead of going to the Limb Lab with other children learning to use artificial limbs, he spends time at the airport. There, an unexpected sequence of events results in him meeting Eric, a robot with one leg, and pandemonium ensues. Alfie’s new friend and ‘obedient servant’ can perform a wide range of tasks although his interpretation of instructions usually have unforeseen results. And all along there is something Alfie just can’t remember about what happened when he had the accident that caused the loss of his hand.
