No Dinner!

This version of the story of the old woman and the pumpkin, a traditional tale told across the Indian sub-continent, is recounted in simple patterned and repetitive language with an enjoyable build up of tension as to whether the old woman will escape being eaten by the many animals who threaten to devour her. The illustrations are bold with colours close to red - pink, orange and brown - featuring prominently and set against a white background.
