My Very Own Space
Author: Pippa Goodhart

A young rabbit just wants peace and quiet to look at his book and draws a line around the space he regards as his. Eventually another rabbit discovers how to breach the line and the space becomes shared. However, the first little rabbit still finds a quiet corner when he needs it too.
A story about the tensions between being sociable and needing personal space is told with minimal text. The illustrations, which have a warm predominantly red/orange/brown palette, reveal much of what is going on in the rabbit’s imagination as well as what is happening around him.
