Kangaroo Kisses

A little girl tries to thwart her mother’s attempts to get her to go to bed with a repeated refrain of ‘Not yet!’. While mum tries to keep her to a bedtime routine, the child is having all sorts of imaginary adventures with a range of wild animals. The text is in rhyming couplets and Pippa Curnick’s colourful illustrations extend to the endpapers depicting the individual animals in the story which could be used as a naming game.
