A poetic text describes all the wonders of water using an imaginative array of adjectives and verbs – ‘salty, surging and mysterious’, ‘Sometimes you roar and pour’. Watery words are printed so that they form an element of the illustrations. At the end of the book there are appendices with scientific facts about water forms and the water cycle.
