Car Wash Wish

Readers are taken into the thoughts of Hudson, a 14 year old with Asperger’s, as he talks to his unborn sibling who he refers to as Zed. Hudson is aware that ‘people don’t always say what they think’ and that he is able to read words better than he can read people. He has a lot of social negotiation to do around his mother’s pregnancy with her new partner, his grandad’s funeral, and his relationship with his own father. A short novel featuring a very likeable protagonist.
