Bibbit Jumps

'Bibbit Jumps' is a charming collection of short stories of varying length about an enthusiastic little frog, and the slice-of-life, gently philosophical adventures he has with friends and family. Translated from the original Chinese, with vibrant ink and watercolour illustrations by the author - we often see Bibbit depicted multiple times and in various dynamic poses across the same illustration, showing his range of motion.

Arches of green show the trajectory of Bibbit's jumps, most strikingly in the final and longest story in the collection, 'An adventure', where they are frenetically overlaid over a collage of black-and-white photographs depicting a bustling cityscape, then in three wordless spreads show the journey of Bibbit and his sister as they hop all the way home.
