Charlotte Hacking joins the Practitioner Advisory Board at the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Primary Pedagogy

We are proud to share with you news that CLPE’s Learning Programme Leader, Charlotte Hacking, has been appointed a member of the Practioner Advisory Board at the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Primary Pedagogy (HHCP)!

Charlotte is Learning Programme Leader and CLPE, and alongside teaching on a range of CLPE courses, has developed and led a number of research projects including our pioneering Power of Pictures project co-created with author-illustrator Ed Vere, and the CLPE's Power of Poetry research project aimed at improving children’s engagement in and enjoyment of reading and creative writing in schools.

We are delighted Charlotte’s expertise in primary literacy has been recognized by the HHCP – an organization founded to enhance educational practice through research and help children to realise their full potential through optimal teaching and learning.

The Power of Pictures coure returns in May with illustrator Emily Hughes: register your interest here.

Charlotte is a judge on our annual poetry award celebrating published UK children's poetry and it's associated shadowing scheme, CLiPPA. Find out more here.
